This piece was inspired by the Zentangle Project Pack 4 at the official Zentangle site, but I didn't have a spare $25 to shell out. I followed the advice to add subtle colors to some of the sections, but the scan didn't preserve the very pale colors. After scanning I colored them digitally in GIMP.

    Amazing! Love the subtle colors. They are so soothing as a background for the fantastic and varied tangles.

    This turned out marvelously! I think I will make my own spinner this year like you. I have more time on my hands these days and Zentangle helps me to still reach some zen!
